Fiorella Fabracci stands out in the industry with more than 15 years of experience in different areas. She is from Santa Fe, Argentina, and has shown a great interest in the food industry since childhood.
After graduating from Engineering at the Universidad Nacional del Litoral from Santa Fe, Fiorella worked in various companies in the food market. Initially, she stood out in the quality area of poultry products at Grupo Motta in Entre Rios, having international certification for ready-to-eat products.
In 2012, she joined a multinational company, Nestlé Argentina SA, but focused on the pet food market, Nestlé Purina Pet Care. She has worked as a Technical Specialist in the Technical Group for 7 years. In 2015, she specialized in Packaging with a Postgraduate Degree in Packaging Technologies at the Instituto Argentino del Envase in Buenos Aires.
In 2020, she assumed the position of Technical Application Group Manager at Purina Pet Care. In Argentina, she leads a multidisciplinary group in the following areas: Process and Palatability, Manufacturing and Ingredients, Packaging, Regulatory Affairs, and Pet Care.
In addition, she has been leading Sustainable Strategies since 2021, working with a group to develop initiatives and projects aligned with the company’s global goals in the value chain.

Thomas Runde is CEO and Sales Director of Tietjen Verfahrenstechnik GmbH since 2013. He combines background from machine manufacturing and environmental technologies with a hands-on and result-driven approach to business and leadership. Before coming to Tietjen, he worked as a managing director for several international companies from machine industry and renewables. He achieved a university degree from the University of Muenster in Germany and the University of Washington in Seattle in 1995.

She worked with companies, start-ups, and different organizations in the development of new products, the implementation of processes, and the training of technicians and professionals.

He has been working for more than a decade to ensure that world class technology from different disciplines is applied to solve problems in the agricultural value chain.
Zootechnician and Doctor of Science, with technical knowledge of ruminant nutrition, food additives and antioxidants, as well as studies in Meat Science, biochemistry, and animal physiology. Conducting science experiments for animal evaluation and transferring knowledge for the evaluation and validation of technological tools aimed at improving productivity in the industry. She has corporate expertise in the technical area, as well as in research and development, working as a Product Manager in antioxidants, antimicrobials, and shelf life solutions for animal feed.
Emilie is an agronomist with an executive MBA from the Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa (Insper), São Paulo. She is from France, where she attended university. In 2006, she moved to Brazil to develop her professional career and started working at Symrise Pet Food as a Quality and Environmental Manager. In 2008, she led the Development and Technical Support department in Latin America. At the same time, she developed solutions for pet food manufacturers and offered technical support in the search of more palatable and specific diets.
In 2022, Emilie quit the laboratory and assumed the position of General Manager at Symrise Pet Food, Argentina, in charge of business in Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Bolivia, and Paraguay.
Co-founder and CTO of Tebrio
Sabas has an academic background in Chemical Engineering and 20 years of experience in the agri-food sector. In 2014, he founded Tebrio together with Adriana Casillas, leading the technological development and supervising the team of engineers and scientists on which the activity of a worldwide pioneering company in the breeding and processing of insects is based.
Previously, he headed the technical team at the Maguisa slaughterhouse in Salamanca, where he developed an in-depth knowledge of the agri-food industry and the legislation that regulates it. During that time, he managed R&D projects budgeted at more than 12 million euros.
Doctor Juan Gómez Basauri is the founder and president of Magellan LLC, a company dedicated to developing new products and new technologies and innovations, commercializing scientifically proven ingredients, and consulting services to the food and agriculture industries.
He has more than 25 years of experience in leading positions and in charge of many business units in multinational companies, such as Ralston Purina and Alltech.
Dr Gómez Basauri has a Bachelor of Science and Engineering from Universidad Federico Villareal in Lima, Perú. In addition, he has a Food Science MSc from the University of Leeds, England, and a Food Science Ph.D. from Cornell University, focused on Nutrition and Biochemistry.
He was a fellow of the British Council and the Fulbright program, among other accomplishments. Dr Gómez Basauri is a sough-after speaker in the industry, and he has also published in trade journals and scientific publications.

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) graduated at the University of Milan, Francesca holds a PhD in Animal Feed and Food Safety. In the Pet Care and Pet Food Business since 17 years, Dr Susca started her professional career at Nestlé Purina managing several categories and roles within the areas of Product Development, Regulatory and Compliance.
In 2017 she joined Lallemand Animal Nutrition to develop, manage and drive the full range of Lallemand Animal Nutrition microbial solutions dedicated to pets health & well-being. Currently Global Pet Product and Business Development Manager Dr Susca has led the recent launch of LALPROBIOME – the Lallemand Animal Nutrition‘s platform of innovative microbial solutions tailored for Companion Animals.

Ricardo Souza Vasconcellos is Associate Professor of the Animal Science Department at the State University of Maringá (UEM), Brazil. He’s graduated in Veterinary Medicine at the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV-Brazil), and his PhD was concluded in Animal Nutrition, with emphasis in Dog and Cat Nutrition. He is Professor and Advisor in two Graduate Programs linked to the State University of Maringá. He also had worked in a Brazilian Pet food company, in the R&D department. The main research topics that he is working, are as follow: shelf-life evaluation methods in Pet food; Quality of animal by-product meals and animal fats as ingredient for Pet food; Tools for the evaluation of Pet Food sustainability; Cat nutrition.
Veterinarian, graduated from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) with a degree in Feline Medicine from Universidad del Salvador. I began my career in the small animals’ clinic, and then I expanded my work experience at different companies in the vet area, including laboratories and pet food industries. Among these areas, I initially worked as Technical Sales Representative, and then assumed positions in Product Development, Technical Management, and creation of technical content and trainings. Currently, I’m the Scientific Communication Director at Alican SA.
I’m Betiana Andrea Colabianchi, veterinarian and professor at Facultad de Ciencias Veterinarias of Universidad Nacional de Rosario (UNR), Argentina. I graduated in 2022 and then I specialized in Domestic Cat Medicine. In addition, I have a degree in Maestría Internacional en Tecnología de los Alimentos (MITA) and a specialization in Docencia Universitaria orientada a las Ciencias Agropecuarias. Currently. I’m studying Doctorate in Veterinary Science.

I lead innovation projects in pet food and in the teaching of veterinary complementary therapies. In addition, I’m the head of the pet nutrition service of the teaching hospital HEGyPA (Hospital Escuela de Grandes y Pequeños Animales) and the coordinator of the canine group at UNR university.
Sustainability in the Pet Food Industry
Juan Manuel Peralta is General Manager of WMG, a wet food company for pets in Argentina, but he´s also an amateur cook, from where he gets ideas for the food he develops for pets.
He worked during 18 years in multinational pet food companies in Argentina, USA and Colombia, mainly in the manufacturing area, as well as research & development. He was an entrepreneur for a few years with a nanotechnology company and returned to the corporate world in 2015 as regional service manager for Diana Petfood, where he provided specialized palatability services to a hundred companies in Latin America.
Zootechnician (Animal Science), worked for 5 years as a nutritionist for poultry and swine, formulating feed and premixes, as well as implementing and managing the 5S and ISO 9001 systems. For 8 years, served as the National Sales Manager for Eurotec Nutrition with additives for rendered meals and fats.
In November 2011, assumed the Technical Department of ABRA (Brazilian Renderers Association), overseeing regulatory matters, hygienic manufacturing programs, HACCP plans and rendering project consultancy.
With the WRO (World Renderers Organization), he has been a member of the Scientific Advisory Panel since 2014. Having held the positions of vice-president and president within the WRO, and currently, he is the Technical Director of the organization.

She is the Laboratory Manager of High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) at JLA Argentina. This company provides strategic consulting and laboratory services to the food chain in Argentina, from primary production to commercialization and exportation.
